Mitja Ruzzier is professor of entrepreneurship and chair of the entrepreneurship department at Faculty of Management, University of Primorska. He started his career as an entrepreneur and later worked in different positions in health insurance, distribution and wholesale of FMCG, before he moved to academics. In his research, teaching and consulting work, he covers the areas of entrepreneurship, innovativeness, brands and internationalization of SMEs. He is the author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers, conference contributions and several books, the latest being Marketing for Entrepreneurs and SMEs, and Startup Branding Funnel.
Maja Konecnik Ruzzier is Professor of Marketing at Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. In her research, teaching and consulting work, she covers the area of branding, marketing, destination and SMEs. She has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers and 5 books, the latest being Marketing for Entrepreneurs and SMEs, and Startup Branding Funnel. She has been involved in the development of marketing and branding strategies for many organizations, including her significant contribution in the development of the country brand I feel Slovenia.
